1. Launching BYJU'S JEE, which garnered 1 lakh paid users in its first year.
2. Integrating Gradeup (an acquisition) into the Byju's ecosystem, reducing the order confirmation cycle from 48 hours to under a minute.
3. Operationalizing E-NACH and E-Mandate within 24 hours of their national launch.
4. Seamlessly integrating Aakash into the Byju's ecosystem with a quote management system.
5. Launching multiple products across price points, ranging from ₹100 to ₹1,50,000, in the K-12 and JEE segments.
6. Introducing consumer financing solutions for small loans with co-applicants for BYJU'S Exam Prep, among others.
From Mohnish’s personal working style, I imbibed several key qualities, including the ability to map out various scenarios, account for user behaviors, and use flowcharts to explain complex concepts concisely. I also learned how to stay ahead of the curve by exploring upcoming innovations like payment technologies, APIs, and integrations, and by implementing pilots for rapid execution. The speed at which Mohnish could deliver integrations and bring new ideas to life for a 30,000+ strong sales force was remarkable—even intimidating at times. It compelled me to level up my own speed and commitment repeatedly. The iterative process of perfecting things was often the key to good products that Mohnish and his team built.
